Digital Summit 2022 held with the focus of Wining the Digital Age

The 9th Digital Summit organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum was held on Saturday, 17th December at Grand Ballroom of La Meridien Hotel, Dhaka- Presented by Meghna Group of Industries, sponsored by Httppool Bangladesh Limited, with the involvement of Adjust and The Daily Star, this year's theme of the Digital Summit was 'Winning the Digital Age'.

This year's Digital Summit consisted of 4 keynote sessions, 4 panel discussions, 2 insight sessions and 1 case study.

The 9th Digital Summit has become one of the occasions for the participation of expert speakers from home and abroad and discussion and exchange of views.

In her welcome address to the summit, Bangladesh Brand Forum Director and Creative Editor, Nazia Andalib Prima said, “The post-Covid reality has exposed us to the true potential of the digital world. So now is the right time to apply the benefits of digital world properly. But no advantage comes without some challenges. So experts will have a major responsibility to address these challenges properly.”

The importance of creativity and strategy in these digitally divided times, the importance of data as an asset in the marketer's work, the imperative of long-term influencer partnerships and the potential of brand marketing in the metaverse became relevant in various discussions of the day-long event.

In the first keynote session discussing privacy, Matthew Brunier said, “Privacy is very important. Because users are aware of this. 64% of users don't trust company paid information about data. Data is critical to a relevant and relevant user experience.”

Mahfuz Siddiqui FRSA, in the first panel discussion said, “For the first time in communication, consumers are in control. It is not possible to maintain compatibility with all platforms currently working and possible in the future. It is therefore important to ensure a platform neutral strategy and manage the platform accordingly.”
